Zayo brings fiber network to Albuquerque to target new backhaul and business opportunities - Fierce Telecom
Zayo is taking on the Albuquerque wholesale fiber market, extending its fiber network to the region to fulfill the needs of a wholesale wireless backhaul customer. For this latest initiative, the service provider will build 158 miles of new fiber cable that it says will stretch from the South Valley to the foot of the Sandia Mountains. It said the fiber build will cover Albuquerque from the suburb of South Valley to Bernalillo, east to Highway 556, and west to Highway 448.
